Help Save a Life: Learn Hands-Only CPR
Coaches, parents, volunteers and community members all play an important role in keeping our athletes and families safe. In a cardiac emergency, immediate action can make the difference between life and death. Hands-only CPR is a simple skill that anyone can learn and perform while waiting for emergency responders to arrive.
Whether you’re on the sidelines, in the gym, at a practice or attending a community event, being prepared to recognize sudden cardiac arrest and begin chest compressions can help save a life. Join us as the American Heart Association provides hands-on instruction in hands-only CPR.
We encourage all coaches, sports officials, and community members to take a few minutes to learn this lifesaving technique. The more people who are prepared to act, the safer our fields, courts and neighborhoods become.
